Steve Sifford has literally grown up in music and ministry. The son of a Southern Baptist minister, Steve began his musical career singing in church with his family. He credits an uncle in particular as being his earliest and biggest musical influence.

In 1980, Steve had a life-changing experience while attending a concert of one of his favorite singer/songwriters. From the stage, the artist simply acknowledged how blessed he was to be doing what he loved and making a living doing it, and where his blessings came from. His words reminded Steve where his talent was sown, and to this day he does not walk on stage without asking the Lord to carry him.

Steve enjoyed several years as a part of the opening act for Roy Clark in Branson, Missouri. In his time there, he was privileged to open for the top country music performers of the day. For almost 20 years, as the Host and Featured Vocalist, Steve was the voice of The Carolina Opry. He has a versatile repertoire ranging from pop to country, and his favorite, gospel. On stage, Steve’s powerful vocal ability is only equaled by his honesty and warmth as an entertainer. He has the unique ability of making each member of the audience feel as though they were being entertained in their own living room. Steve’s quick wit and sense of humor have endeared him to audiences and co-workers alike. His audiences range from churches looking for fresh and new inspiration, to marriage enrichment seminars, city-wide concerts, business related events, and corporate gatherings.
